Mission Statement
The Kalamazoo Christian Schools, in partnership with Christian families and churches, prepare students to serve God responsibly in His world, by equipping them with knowledge, skills, and a biblical vision for life, for the advancement of His kingdom.
The key phrases 'to serve God', 'a biblical vision', and 'the advancement of His kingdom' give a glimpse of our uniqueness as a Christian middle school. In addition to offering excellent academic training and preparing our students for the next stage of their educational journey, our goal is to equip them with a distinct Christian worldview.

I have visited Kalamazoo Christian Middle School several times and in each visit I was impressed by the positive, inviting classroom atmosphere apparent in the school. Students and teachers seek to treat each other with dignity and respect. Students seem to enjoy coming to school.
The curriculum is designed to meet the learning needs of middle level students. I have visited with teachers who have taught integrated thematic units on truth and justice. These units are God-centered, rigorous, and relevant to the lives of middle school students. The school has also implemented an impressive exploratory curriculum designed to develop unique gifts in students and to broaden their interests in a wide range of life and learning skills.
